Our Simple Glamping Pods

We love making the nice things in life accessible for as many people as possible so we decided to make our pods suitable for simple glamping. Our quiet site is close to Cumbria’s Lake District National Park and the historic city of Carlisle.

We love camping and we know you do too. Sometimes though, the “Pod Advantage” wins. If you want a little more luxury… then our Dolly Daydream Bell Tent could be the glamping accommodation for you.

The Joys of Pod Accommodation: The “Pod Advantage”

Camping in Cumbria with pods, for your holiday accommodation has several benefits. A camping pod is a solid, insulated wooden tent! No flappy canvas or delicate poles to manage when you arrive after a potentially long journey. And probably the best thing is you can stand up straight 🙂 . If the weather is wet and windy they are more robust against the weather and at the end of the week – no soggy tents to pack away and get dried when you get home. Currently we have 3 pods named after the three prominent Lake District Fells visible to our south.

Pod Amenities and Site Facilities:

Each of our glamping pods includes:

  • Kitchenette with hot and cold running water, kettle, toaster, microwave, and micro fridge freezer

  • Electrical sockets, interior lighting, and privacy blinds

  • Private decking area to enjoy spectacular views of the Northern Fells

  • Enclosed garden area where your dog can roam safely

  • Access to hot tub for High Pike View users

Guests can access a shared toilet and shower block, comprising two toilets and a convenient shower room.
